Finger strength and control

This week’s lessons will focus on developing fine motor skills. Children must exercise the muscles needed for holding and controlling writing instruments and art tools. They need to develop strength and control in their fingers, strength in their shoulders, control of forearm and wrist, the ability to use both hands simultaneously and eye-hand coordination abilities to be ready for writing.
