Hickory Dickory Rock

Listening activities encourage the ability to hear and distinguish environmental sounds and the sounds of language. Rhyming activities support the ability to identify words with the same final sound segment. Change words to known rhymes during interactions with your child. For example, “Twinkle, Twinkle little CAR. You have gas to take us FAR.” Or “Hickory dickory ROCK. Please put on your SOCK!”
