Cumulus clouds

This week focuses on nature and science. Children will learn about the solar system and how long it takes to rotate around the sun. They will also learn that seeds need water, soil, and sunlight to grow when they experiment growing their own plant. Other activities teach about the weather and your child will learn different types of natural disasters, as well as different types of clouds and their characteristics. An activity you could try is to make a book about clouds by using cotton balls. Label 3 types of clouds: CIRRUS -wispy/white, CUMULUS -fluffy/white, & NIMBOSTRATUS -heavy/dark. When are they seen?
