Family literacy

This week the focus is on family and literacy. Your child will learn about different family traditions and what makes their family unique. You child will also learn problem-solving skills when asked to act out different dilemmas that family’s might be faced with. These activities will promote reading, writing, list-making, and fine motor skills. Start by making a family tree. Help child draw a tree on a large sheet of paper. Have child cut out pictures of family members and paste onto the tree. Write their names.
