Applesauce is good.
There are lots of ways to have a birthday party. You can celebrate with just your immediate family members with a special meal, or you can go all out and have a grand playdate with friends and neighbors.
Even though it’s your child’s birthday, this is a milestone for you and your entire family. Celebrate your child’s life, and celebrate the contribution s that everybody has made to your child’s growth and development.
Take a few minutes to write a short letter to your child. Write about some of your favorite moments from their third year of life. Some of the fun times, some of the challenges, stories about your child’s emerging personality, etc. Put it in an envelope and seal it up. 10 or 15 years from now this will make for a great bonding moment, and another great way for you to capture your experiences together.
Next week is another big milestone: Your child will be four years old! Wow! This week is a good time to reflect back on how much you and your child have developed and grown. Check out your Parent University photo album on your Facebook page and see how much you and your child have learned.
Make an animal A-Z book. Write the letters on each page. Then draw or paste a picture of an animal that starts with each letter. Write a sentence about animals that you can read to your child.
